The ForLive International Congress has a new date and new location: it will now be held in Belem" Brazil from December 1st - 5th. The event will bring together civil society leaders" governments" researchers and international cooperation organizations to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing the sustainable use" management and conservation of the forests in the Amazon. RRI is currently engaged with event sponsors in planning for the event" and seeks to highlight alternative forest based development strategies in the region.
