RRI Collaborators have set the stage for piloting DRC’s community forestry process through a multi-stakeholder workshop to harmonize different implementation tools to equip local actors with the necessary information and tools to implement community forestry and support local communities to secure customary forest rights through the acquisition of of LCFCs. During the workshop, key actors in community forestry developed a unified approach to the allocation, management, and use of LCFCs. A Working Group was established to continue finalizing the harmonized tools using inputs from the workshop.
