The Livelihoods Learning Community will be a free, 5-week virtual and facilitated learning space for members of the RRI coalition who meet the participant profile.

This course will be an introduction to sustainable livelihoods for Indigenous Peoples, Afro-descendent Peoples, and local communities, as well as for project managers who work locally in livelihoods initiatives. We’ll focus on topics and case studies crucial for understanding sustainable livelihoods and hope to inspire the development of new livelihoods and income-generating activities, with a special focus on opportunities for women and youth.
Register with 2–3 others from your community or organization: RRI will prioritize participants who sign up with 2–3 other members of their community or organization to support applying learnings to your communities and territories. Priority will be given to groups that include women, elders, and youth. Every interested participant should register individually, but please be ready to provide the name(s) of your partner(s) when registering.

Equipment needed: A computer with a stable internet connection to join live sessions on Zoom is preferred, but a mobile phone is also acceptable, and either to read short articles and written materials and watch short videos on YouTube or similar platforms. If internet access is a barrier, please register and provide details of your needs.
