The Rights and Resources Initiative" in collaboration with the Amazon Alliance and the Forest Peoples Programme" is holding an event at the World Conservation Congress to highlight the role of indigenous rights and community forest tenure in the formulation of climate change mitigation and adaptation instruments.
Indigenous representatives will come together from around the world to highlight the experiences of indigenous communities with climate change and conservation initiatives" drawing on perse experiences from the Amazon" South America" West Africa and Indonesia.
