From September 29 to 1^st October, members of the RRI Cameroon coalition will be organizing a Week on Tenure at the hotel La Falaise in Yaoundé. The objective of this week is to showcase the coalition’s advocacy work and to use this space to support and advance the inclusion of the rights and interests of local communities in the forest and land reforms in Cameroon. More specifically, the coalition intends to carry out an advocacy geared towards the government and other political and public actors (MINDCAF, MINFOF, Prime Ministry) for a better inclusion of the rights and interests of communities in the current reforms. This week will also be an opportunity to mobilize the media, civil society, Traditional Chiefs, Parliamentarians, communities and other change agents around the forest and land reform processes.
