MegaFlorestais 2016 was held in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan Province, China on April 19-22, 2016, co-hosted by the State Forestry Administration of China.

The conference was the eleventh annual meeting of MegaFlorestais (for details on MegaFlorestais, click here). The meeting in China  focused on “Public Forest Reform and Green Growth Post-Paris.” As always, experts from around the world presented global perspectives on all of these issues.

At the event, Leaders signed a statement recognizing the important role MegaFlorestais has playing in accelerating learning and innovation among public forest agency leaders for more than a decade. Read the statement.
