The strategic analysis of RRI has been featured in a recent World Bank report Social Dimensions of Climate Change: Equity and Vulnerability in a Warming World (edited by Robin Mearns and Andrew Norton). The closing chapter of the book” “Seeing People through the Trees and Carbon: Mitigating and Adapting to Climate Change without Undermining Rights and Livelihoods” (Andy White” Jeffrey Hatcher” Arvind Khare” Megan Liddle” Augusta Molnar and William D. Sunderlin)” focuses on the role of forests in addressing the growing challenges of food security” energy security” political security and ecological security.  The paper also argues that “with robust and proactive steps” climate change and the global response can be converted from a major threat to a major opportunity” not only to reduce emissions from forests” but also to advance governance and development in forest areas.”

RRI was also featured in the earlier 2008 Workshop Report on Social Dimensions of Climate Change.
