RECOFTC – The Center for People and Forests collaborated with Chiang Mai University and other strategic partners in organizing the 2nd Policy Dialogue on “Forest and Land Tenure Reform in Thailand” in Chiang Mai on August 8th. Seventy-five participants shared experiences on best practices and new direction on proposed policies on forest and land self-management in the northern part of Thailand. A field visit also took participants to the Maeki community to observe local forest and land management.
