The National Seminar on Community Forestry for Social Justice and Sustainable Reform in Thailand, co-organized by the Thai Royal Forest Department, Community Forestry Network-Thailand and RECOFTC yielded recommendations to policymakers and a formal declaration and Call for Action to mainstream community forestry into Thailand?s ongoing political reforms and strengthening community participation in national forest governance. Participants from government organizations, CSO and community forestry networks, academic institutions and the private sector, attended the seminar, which included training and best practices-sharing on community responses to climate change and REDD+ programs.
