TEBTEBBA and the Forest Peoples Programme (FPP) cohosted the 9th RRI Dialogue on Forests, Governance & Climate Change in London. The Dialogue brought together leading actors in the forest, development and climate change arenas, providing an early opportunity to interpret the decisions of COP16 and assess the trends likely to shape 2011. After participating in the Dialogue, the British Prime Minister and Minister of Environment apologized to the UK public for their previous stance of wanting to privatize domestic forests.
