Coinciding with the International Conference on Forest Tenure, Governance and Enterprise in Lombok, Forest People’s Program (FPP) chaired a Roundtable Discussion on Mapping Forest Rights and Spatial Planning for Livelihood Security. Inputs from NGOs (Tebtebba), Indonesian government representatives, academics and Indigenous Peoples? representatives from across Indonesia encouraged further discussion on development of methodologies, spatial knowledge systems, securing local tenure and supporting forest peoples? rights, including Indigenous People’s, gender balance, and poorer communities.
