In Guatemala on November 12, Centro de Investigaciones y Proyectos para el Desarrollo y la Paz (CEIDEPAZ) held a second meeting with representatives of public institutions to present a new tool for monitoring the ongoing cadaster process, as well as the results from the first test of the monitoring tool during the implementation of the cadaster in communal lands and its consistency in respecting collective land tenure rights of indigenous communities. The presentation of these findings was preceded by a meeting to solicit feedback from indigenous, campesino, and other civil society organizations on October 30.
