Leaders from governments, NGOs, and communities from around Asia examined the status of tenure and the global status of REDD, and recommended national-level institutional frameworks to ensure that REDD supports development at the RRI Asia Dialogue on Community Forests and Property Rights in the Context of Climate Change held in Kathmandu, Nepal. The event was co-organized by Intercooperation, the Federation of community Forestry Users Nepal (FECOFUN), the Center for People and Forests (RECOFTC), and the Global Alliance of Community Forestry (GACF) and was part of the new series of the Regional Dialogues which build off of the Global Dialogue series.
