La Asociaci?n Coordinadora Ind?gena y Campesina de Agroforester?a Comunitaria de Centroam?rica (ACICAFOC) launched the Mesoamerican Community Carbon Reservoir (MesoCarbon) at the COP16 in Cancun, Mexico. MesoCarbon will serve as an alternative for communities to implement REDD+ while upholding social and territorial rights on the 50 million hectares under community and indigenous control in Central America.
