RRI Africa Regional Dialogue on Forests, Governance and Climate Change was held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The event brought stakeholders from across the continent to the table to discuss the climate change debate within Africa and its implications for rights, tenure and governance in the region. Over 80 delegates from 20 African states contributed to the broad representation across communities, governments, researchers, women?s groups, parliamentarians, and NGOs. The event was a platform to influence the 7th African Development Forum to prioritize tenure reform and recognize rights within the context of addressing climate change.
