A conference organized by Intercooperation, ?Territories, Governance and Autonomy in Latin America? launched an analysis of territorial governance in five Latin American countries, with a particular focus on Peru. The report, Podemos ser aut?nomos?: Pueblos Ind?genas vs. Estado en Latinoam?rica(Can We be Autonomous?: Indigenous Peoples vs. the State in Latin America), investigates whether local autonomy is a viable system for Indigenous People in Latin America.
