RRI and the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) completed the last phase of their three-year research project, ?Enhancing Livelihoods and Equity in Community Forests.” The final product included an in depth comparative analysis of 10 countries examining how tenure reform, regulations, and market access affect community livelihoods and forest conditions. Meetings with FECOFUN at the local, district and national levels, as well as a multi- stakeholder seminar were conducted to share these findings and move Nepal?s own process of community tenure reforms and market interests forward.
