From the Amazon to Asia and Africa, Indigenous, Afro-descendant, and local community youth are building global solidarity through the launch of three major initiatives at this RRI Youth Side Event at COP30, collectively amplifying their shared vision for justice, equity, and community-driven solutions in a critical phase of the climate crisis.

The Global Youth Network is a historic step toward a unified global youth alliance that connects Indigenous Peoples, Afro-descendant peoples, local communities, and allied youth groups together into one global structure for cross-regional solidarity and action. It aims to amplify youth voices, strengthen intergenerational leadership and resource mobilization, and ensure that youth perspectives are recognized in global decision-making spaces.
