This side event explores how inclusive green investments can strengthen rangeland restoration, climate resilience, and Pastoral livelihoods while safeguarding land rights and customary governance.

Bringing together policymakers, practitioners, Pastoralist representatives, and development partners, the session will highlight practical approaches to responsible investment, secure tenure, and equitable benefit-sharing. It aims to generate recommendations for integrating Pastoralist priorities into land restoration and sustainable development efforts in the lead-up to and beyond UNCCD COP17.
