On July 4, Cameroon Ecology workshop convened a workshop with civil society and seven ministries involved in land and forestry. The participants submitted three articles to support participatory community rights mapping to integrate into the Ministry of Economy, Land Use Planning and Zoning (MINEPAT)?s regulations for the framework law on sustainable land management, which are currently being drafted. The ministries mandated RRI and Cameroon Ecology to propose sample texts for application in MINEPAT?s framework law on sustainable land management, and to identify the rights of local and Indigenous peoples that are recognized under the law.
