RRI Partners and collaborators in the Asian region conducted a planning meeting in Vientiane" Lao on June 12-14" 2008.  The purpose of the meeting was to exchange ideas regarding the strategic priorities and areas of engagement for the coalition in both Lao and East Asia.  The fourth in a series of planning exercises" the meeting in Vientiane aggregated earlier discussions of RRI activities and priorities in Asia that took place in Washington" DC in January" Beijing" China in February and Kathmandu" Nepal in April.  Input from all four meetings was collected and documented in the form of an 18 month work-plan for RRI in Asia which will be reviewed by all Partner organizations at the governance meeting in Cheltenham in July 2008.
