On November 8″ 2006 the Civil Society Advisory Group (CSAG) to the International Tropical Timber Organization(ITTO) gave a formal presentation of the Rights and ResourcesInitiative at the 41st annual meeting of the International TropicalTimber Council in Yokohama” Japan.

The presentation””Illegality” Poverty” Climate Change and Conflict: challenges andopportunities to reform forest tenure” policy and markets” was hostedby Andy White of RRG” Doris Capistrano of CIFOR” Yati Bun of FPCD Papua New Guinea” and Mimbimi Parfait of Cameroon. A lively discussion followed the panel presentation.
