Details:

Production of 21 participatory maps of local communities’ customary forests in Ngoyla-Mintom. Initially targeting 25,000ha of forests, CAFT was able to significantly expand the forest area secured for communities. Two (2) applications for the creation of a hunting and gathering zone that will cover an area of 326,954 ha were submitted to the Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife. Began process to finalize 19 applications for the creation of community forests covering an area of 73,815 ha.
