The SRM supported a convening of key partners and Commissioners in Africa to finalize and agree upon the text of the Maputo Protocol on Women’s Rights in 2017. The final adoption by the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights (ACHPR) of a General Comment on land and property of the Maputo Protocol on Women’s Rights passed in 2017.
