2007 CFE Conference - Case Study Agrofort
Charlotte Benneker - Wageningen University
Abstract
International research on management of common property resources is gradually focusing more attention on commercial forest exploitation by community enterprises, especially in Latin-America. Changing legislation in Bolivia has enabled the establishment of a great variety of commercial oriented timber associations; this case study describes an indigenous forest association, one of the most developed associations in Bolivia.
