Towards a rights-based agenda in international forestry?

An international workshop on rights-based approaches in international forestry, hosted by the University of East Anglia and the University of California at Berkeley. This workshop will bring together analytically-minded activists and activist scholars to discuss how an emerging rights-based agenda in international forestry might contribute to inclusive futures for people and sustainable forest management.


The workshop will feature keynote presentations by:

  • Marcus Colchester, Forest Peoples Programme

  • Jesse Ribot, University of Illinois

  • William Sunderlin, Rights and Resources Initiative
  • Don Anton, University of Michigan Law School
