Leaders of the Uru- Eu- Wau-Wau Indigenous Land request an emergency solution
This Wednesday, leaders of the Uru- Eu- Wau-Wau Indigenous Land in the municipality of Monte Negro (RO) arrived in Porto Velho to demand that authorities take some sort of action to evict land-grabbers who have invaded their lands and refuse to leave. "We are being threatened by the invaders when they are the ones outside the law," complained tribesman, Puruá, of the Jutaú ethnic group.
