In commemoration of Earth day, on April 22 Greenpeace and National Geographic presented "La Revolución Forestal" on television in Mexico. The video traces Greenpeace and National Geographic on their trip through four forest communities around the country in order to show how community forest management can help stop deforestation and allow the country to witness a true forest revolution. The full video (not yet available on the Web) shows that felling trees in a controlled manner is an effective solution to preserve forests and improve the quality of life for forest dwellers.
